Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SonusLab Storage ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SonusLab Storage stores and serves files for your applications through a web dashboard, an HTTP API, and the sonuslab-storage SDK. The Service is currently free. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your account and API keys safe, and for all activity under your account, including uploads made through presigned URLs your servers issue. Revoke any key you believe is compromised and tell us about unauthorized use promptly. You must give accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or is used for malware, phishing, or other abuse. You also agree not to overload the Service, get around its limits, or attempt to access it without authorization. You are responsible for the files your own users upload through your apps.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the files you store. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process, and serve them as you direct. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Limits and usage
Each app has a maximum file size, and requests are rate limited. Usage is tracked per API key. We may suspend keys or apps that are abused or that threaten the stability or security of the Service.
7. Encryption keys
If you use client-side encryption, you alone hold the keys. We never receive them and cannot decrypt or recover your files. If you lose a key, the files encrypted with it are lost.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own backups of files you can't afford to lose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonusLab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms us or other users.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
